Bob Marshall Conservation Camp
The South Dakota Wildlife Federation-29 and 90 Sportsman Club at last count sponsored approximnetly 80 youth to the Youth Conservation Camp at the Bob Marshall Camp in Custer State Park. 15 of the the young people were from the Sioux Falls area with 5 being sponsored by the Sioux Falls Chapter with the help of the Izaak Walton Leagues Endowment. The buses left Sunday June 4th and returned home on June 10th.
The campers were very excited and wrote Thank You letters before they left at our pre departure meeting. If the camp is like years past the students will bring back a wealth of conservation knowledge and hopefully a passion for the outdoors.
